Iran: Land of the Peacock Throne

16 days, Sat 02 Oct 2010 to Sun 17 Oct 2010

From our experience, Iran is one of the most misunderstood countries on earth and it is our mission to dispel many of the clichéd preconceptions as we travel through this fascinating country – from the splendours of Shiraz to the nomadic tribes of the Zargos Mountains – enjoying the fabled Iranian hospitality along the way. Throughout history Iran, or Persia as it once was called, has loomed large in world history, as indeed it does today. You will work your way slowly south through many of her famous monuments and some of her lesser-known attractions, staying in delightful hotels and rural atmospheric homestays, offering a perfect blend of culture and adventure.
