The whole thing was a highlight! I went there to take photographs, and discovered one of the most beautiful countries, with the friendliest people, that I have come across in all my travels. If I had to choose one or two, then Angkor Wat complex was breathtaking, and the helicopter ride over it in a thunderstorm was very cool. The canoe trip up the Mekong at Vang Vieng was very atmospheric and relaxing, and the trip out to the fishing village for the overnight stay was incredible. The Festival was great, too!Another reason for choosing the trip was to try out Wild Frontiers – You were recommended by someone on a trip to India, and I liked the idea that you went to less touristy places. Well, I was impressed by the whole Wild Frontiers experience, and am currently rummaging through your website and counting my pennies planning for next year...
