This trip was a wonderful taster of all the flavours of Syria, amazing archaeological sites, fascinating history, colourful markets, friendly locals and wonderful food. I wanted to go somewhere completely different to anywhere I’ve every travelled to before and my daughter said that Syria was fascinating – she was right.
