The highlights:- I could say simply just getting to the Yemen, but if I had to pick, for me it would be Sana'a - a stunning city (and one that I would wish to visit again for longer) and the amazing contrast of the country, its mountains and deserts. For someone who just loves deserts time spent in the Wadi Do'an will long be remembered. Waking up the first morning to see old Sana'a from the bedroom window more that made up for the very loud call to prayer that started 20mins after my head finally hit the pillow! In terms of improvements - I don't think I would change a thing, in the current climate and with the restrictions on the ground the quality of the tour would be hard if not impossible to beat.
