The tour for us was taking us outside of our comfort zone. We had never experienced “homestays†before. The sheer beauty of the Talesh mountains was breathtaking. To be in such an environment above the clouds was dreamlike. The tour was made special by the Iranian people that we met, both those that were helping to guide us and those we met in the course of the tour. The Iranian’s hospitality was fantastic... the meal with the family in Masouleh was fantastic.The trek and scenery was superb and being one of the first to experience it was very special. The homestays and the warmth of the families that looked after us were incredible. We have never felt so welcome in a country It was pretty much perfect – a truly memorable trip.
