A fantastic trip, offering a very different cross section of India – from the heat and bustle of Delhi, through Simla and it’s echoes of the Raj, to the peace and tranquillity of the monasteries of Ladakh. The jeep journey is truly spectacular, with stunning scenery and beautiful views all along the route. and crossing over the Tanglang-La pass has got to be the only way to arrive in Ladakh (not least because your acclimatised on arrival!). The villages we walked through were a real highlight – the people were so very welcoming – and it also has to be said that you will not starve on this WF trek!
