Having just retired, Lesley and I were looking for a real treat to celebrate our new-found freedom. The Wild Frontiers trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos fitted the bill perfectly! Although we had travelled extensively, the South American continent was undiscovered territory for us and Ecuador proved a fantastic introduction with its spectacular mountain scenery and extraordinary biodiversity. The Galapagos was a fitting climax - a veritable Garden of Eden! (February 2011)
